Bug fixes:

  • Set IK solver Root Behavior to PinToInput in UE5.1.
  • Fixed double addition of IK solver goals in UE5.1.

  • When the “Retarget Mixamo Skeleton Asset” action is disabled, a tooltip explains the reason.
  • When the “Generate Root Motion Animations” action is disabled, a tooltip explains the reason.
  • All warnings and errors are now shown in the Message Log window (in addition to the Output Log window).

  • Solved a crash when retargeting a MetaHuman skeleton having an unexpected Preview Mesh.

  • Added direct support for the UE5 Mannequin skeleton.
  • Added direct support for the MetaHuman skeleton.

The new feature is available with the exact same workflow as before. The selection dialog now allows to select also the new skeleton types as retarget sources. For those already working with the new skeletons, now there’s no more need to use the UE4 Mannequin as an intermediate target.
